Members of the Historic Triangle communities came together for a fundraiser to help support the family of Gabriel Maness in the Toano Business Center on Sunday afternoon.
Maness, a 34-year-old Army veteran, was shot and killed in a Norge Farm Fresh April 17 as he shopped for doughnuts to bring home to his family.

The fundraiser Sunday collected money to be given to Maness’ wife, Kristy, and their two daughters, 5-year-old Brielle and Gracelyn, who was born May 14. In attendance was Del. Brenda Pogge and Sheriff Deeds.

This is what makes our district so great, how our people come together to help one another. Thanks to delegate Pogge, Sheriff Deeds and everyone else who helped out
